Keith and Cheryl Jost of Hillsboro and James and Laura Cummings of Gillette, N.J., announce the engagement of their children, Meghan Jost of Hillsboro to Ian Cummings of Gillette.
The bride-to-be graduated from Hillsboro High School in 2008. She is a senior at Newman University in Wichita and is expected to graduate in May with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Doerksen, Faber wedding Sept. 14
Talia Doerksen of Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Tyler Faber of Brule, Neb., announced their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-to-be is a student at Tabor College.
The groom-elect is a student at Casper College in Casper, Wyo. The engagement announcement followed a carriage ride in Prescott. A Sept. 14 wedding is planned.

Tanner, Hein plan June 9 wedding
William and Lisa Tanner of Newton and Dean and Beth Hein of Hillsboro announce the engagement of their children, Allison Tanner to Justin Hein, both of Newton.
The bride-to-be is studying at Kansas State University and also works on-campus as a student employee.
The groom-elect works for Heritage Home Works in Newton.
A June 9 wedding is planned in Hillsboro.

Seifert, How to wed in December
Steve and Angie Seifert of Lost Springs and Dawn How and the late Mark How of Lacey, Wash., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Brian Lee How to Samantha JoLee Seifert, both of Lost Springs.
The bride-to-be is a sophomore at Cloud County Community College and works at Barnes IGA in Herington.
The groom-elect is in the U.S. Army and stationed in South Carolina for basic training.
They plan to marry at 3 p.m. Dec. 31 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Herington.

Aaron and Lanell Hett of Marion announce the engagement of their son, Nickolas Aaron, to Ann Kathryn LeBlanc, daughter of Kevin and Renee LeBlanc of Manhattan.
The groom-elect is a 2004 graduate of Marion High School and is employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Peabody.
The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School in Overland Park. She will complete her degree in dietetics from Kansas State University in December.
