? Magdalen M. Dvorak, 96, of Pilsen, died Nov. 3 at St. Luke Hospital in Marion.

The service was Nov. 7 at Holy Family Parish, St. John Nepomucene Church of Pilsen.

Burial was at Pilsen Cemetery.

She was born Sept. 9, 1919, to Peter and Christina (Urbanek) Silhan near Lost Springs. On May 30, 1939, she was married to Leonard Dvorak, who predeceased her.

Survivors include sons Roger and wife Lolita of Killeen, Texas, John and wife Carol of Marion, Thomas and wife Janell of Newton, Emil of Indianola, Iowa, David and wife Susan of Andover and Michael and wife Carleen of Emporia; daughters Karen and husband Don Druse of Marion, Margaret and husband Tom Niles of El Reno, Okla., and Marlene and husband John Clayton of Ellinwood; sisters Beatrice and husband Ed Riedy of Hope and Mildred Ireland of Hutchinson and 20 grandchildren.

? Neysa Cecelia Koehler Eberhard, 94, a teacher and librarian at Peabody, Marion, Newton and Oklahoma State University, died Nov. 4 at Parkside Homes, Hillsboro.

Cremation took place and no services are planned.

She was born Dec. 28, 1921, to Walter and Rachel Perrin Koehler near Elbon, S.D.

Survivors include son Terril Lynn Eberhard of Peabody; sister Betty and husband Claire Breukelman Schelske of Gainsville, Fla., and nieces, nephews and cousins.

? Bennett L. ?Ben? Holub, 56, employed with the Kansas Department of Motor Vehicles, died Nov. 2, 2015, at his home in Newton.

The service is at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at Holy Family Parish, St. John Nepomucene Church, Pilsen

Rosary will precede the service at 10 a.m., also at the church.

Burial will follow at Pilsen Cemetery.

He was born March 24, 1959, to Ernest and Ruby (Thomas) Holub at Marion.

Survivors include Dan Holub of Marion, Terry Holub of Loogootee, Ind.; Frank Holub of Niles, Mich.; Tim Holub of Cheney; and Lin Holub of Galion, Ohio; sister Kathy Budd of Pine, Colo., and nieces and nephews.

? Ruth (Hiebert) Penner, 97, died Nov. 8 at Salem Home in Hillsboro.

The service is at 2 p.m. Nov. 14 at Trinity Mennonite Church in Hillsboro.

She was born Sept. 20, 1918, to David and Helena (Klassen) Hiebert at Goessel. Her husband, Orlando F. Penner, predeceased her in 2000.

Survivors include sons Leroy of Manhattan, Don of Rocky Ford, Colo., Stan of Los Angles, Calif., Brad of Newton and Doug of rural Hillsboro; daughters Kathy Decker of Hillsboro and Jann Hershberger of Millersburg, Ohio; 25 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild and sister Martha Mae Potter of Hillsboro.

? DEATHReed H. Harold Reed, 97, a heating, ventilating and air conditioning sheet metal mechanic and member of Local No. 29 of Wichita, died Nov. 4.

The service was Nov. 7 at Hillside Funeral Home, Wichita. Burial was at Gridley Cemetery.

He was born April 22, 1918, to Henry H. and Maude F. (Laws) Reed in rural Coffey County. On May 17, 1938, he was married to Lila P. (Mills), who predeceased him on May 15, 2006.

Survivors include daughters Brenda and Jackie Byrd of Hillsboro and Rita and Jim Wiggins of Forsyth, Mo.; sister Carol and Ken Allan of Emporia; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.

? Ann Marie (Kane) Religa, 53, of Newton, died Nov. 4 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita after a five-year battle with cancer. She was employed as Harvey County?s 4H youth development extension agent.

The service was Nov. 10 at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Newton.

The burial was at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Paola.

She was born June 30, 1962, to William and Catherine Kane at Paola. On April 9, 1988, she was married to Mark Religa, who survives.

Other survivors include her mother? sisters Mary Kane of Manhattan, Helen and husband Delbert Ramsey of Lyndon, and Alice and husband Flint Toews of Canton, and nieces and nephews.

Burial is at Sacred Heart Cemetery of Park.

Visitation is from 1-5 p.m. Thursday at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.

She was born Aug. 19, 1927, to Bernard and Mary (Wildeman) Zimmerman at Park. On Feb. 6, 1950, she was married to Marcus R. Stefan, who predeceased her.

Survivors include children Gilbert of Emporia, Harold of Goodland, Darrold and wife Colleen of Mesquite, Nev., Bernie and wife Diane of Goodland, Leana McKenrick of Longview, Texas, Rick of Colby, Mary and husband Terry Svobodaof Marion; Robert of Marion; Mark of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Anita and husband Steven Svoboda of Lincolnville; siblings John Zimmerman of Quinter, Peter Zimmerman of Grinnell; Ralph Zimmerman of Oakley; Joseph Zimmerman of Grinnell; Pauline Yonker of Munjor and Angelina Hausheer of Topeka; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

? Wilbur A. Unruh, 90 of Hesston, died Tuesday at Showalter Villa.

The service was Nov. 10 at Hesston Mennonite Church at Hesston.

He was born on March 8, 1925, to William Unruh and Linda Enz Unruh at Goessel. On Aug. 12, 1978, he was married to Donna Vogt, who predeceased him Feb. 1, 1985.

Survivors include stepchildren Royce Saltzman and Shirley Saltzman; brother Marvin Unruh of Newton; sister Margaret Funk of Marion; sister-in-law Joan Unruh of McPherson and nieces and nephews.
