• Rosalie heath, 90,
a homemaker, died July 19 at her home near Burns.
Services were July 23 at Burns United Methodist Church. Burial was at Burns Cemetery.
She was born Dec. 9, 1921, to Olen and Maggie Freeman McIntosh in Burns. On Feb. 28, 1940, she was married to Frank Heath, who survives.
Other survivors include son Larry of North Plains, Ore.; daughters Sandra Heyman of Burns and Linda Willbrand of St. Charles, Mo.; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

• ALLEN NUSS, 87,
a farmer, died July 22 at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 26, at Zion Lutheran Church, 106 N. Lincoln St., Hillsboro, with pastors Brett Huebner and William Cwirla officiating. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Hillsboro.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
He was born Dec. 14, 1924, to Carl and Anna (Matz) Nuss in Hillsboro. On June 12, 1949, he was married to Virginia Mae Jost, who predeceased him in 2004.
Survivors include sons Warren Nuss and Myron and Katrina Nuss, all of rural Newton; daughters Nadine and Douglas Roth of Kansas City, Kan., and Karen and William Cwirla of Hacienda Heights, Calif.; brother Leland Nuss of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

• Jona v. reimer, 90,
a retired farmer and school bus driver for Goessel and Northview Developmental Services, died July 19 at Newton Medical Center.
A celebration of Reimer’s life is planned for early fall and will be announced at a later date.
He was born Feb. 18, 1922, to David U. and Caroline (Voth) Reimer in Walton. On May 15, 1945, he was married to Gladys Voth, who predeceased him. He later married Selma Bartel on Oct. 28, 1954, who also preceded.
Survivors include son Delbert and Sherrie Reimer of Taylors, S.C.; daughter Nadine and Murray Reimer Penner of Wichita; brother Richard Reimer of Smithville, Ohio; sister Evelyn Buller of North Newton; special friend Mildred Buller; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
