She was born Aug. 25, 1961, to James F. and Mary L. (Smith) Bailey. On Aug. 13, 2007, she was married to Karl M. Hammann in Burns, who survives.
Other survivors include siblings Alice Huebert, John Bailey, Fern Bailey and half-sister Shirley Popjoy.

a retired farmer, co-op work and rancher, died April 22 at Peabody.
A graveside service is at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, in Hillcrest Cemetery at Florence. Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, April 25, at Zeiner Funeral Home, 104 W. Fifth St., Florence.
He was born Aug. 14, 1936, at Osceola, Iowa.
Survivors include partner Barbara Johnson and many friends.

• Alfred “chub” Pinkston, 98,
a farmer, truck and bus driver, died April 22 at his home in Cedar Point.
Services were Monday at the Cedar Point Community Church with pastor George Lespagnard officiating. Burial was at Cedar Point Cemetery near Cedar Point.
He was born Jan. 29. 1913, to Levi and Thel Houghton Pinkston near Cedar Point. On March 26, 1960, he was married to Lucille Imogene Carrier , who predeceased him Feb. 21, 2005.
Survivors include sons Gary L. Pinkston of Cedar Point and Thomas L. Pinkston of Springfield, Mo.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchilden.

• Jesse Clayton Richter, 91,
a retired farmer from Peabody, died in his home Sunday, April 10.
Services were April 30 at the Aulne United Methodist Church. Burial was in Prairie Lawn Cemetery at Peabody.
He was born Nov. 18, 1919, to Alvin and Hester (DuBois) Richter on a farm northwest of Peabody. On Nov. 4, 1949, he was married to Lila Schmidt, who survives.
He also is survived by a daughter, Sandra and Steve Murphree of Estes Park, Colo.; three sons Roy and Vickie of Baxter Springs, Randy and Patti of Peabody, and Bradley and Sherri of McPherson; a sister Esta Hall of Burns; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

• James R. Stang, 49,
a Union Pacific Railroad conductor, died Sunday, April 24, from injuries he sustained in a two-car accident near Canton.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at Eastmoor United Methodist Church, 105 Eastmoor Drive, Marion. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday with family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St., Marion. Burial will be at Marion Cemetery.
He was born July 3, 1961, to Marvin R. and Mary-Jo (Faber) Stang.
Survivors include his parents of Wichita; children Amanda and David Morris of Wichita, Joseph and Nathaniel of Newton, and Victoria, Cassandra and Shepherd of Hillsboro; siblings Donna and Scott Allison, Ron and Sharon, Bette and Lee Luinstra, Ernie and Cathy and Russell Lemon, all of Wichita, and three granddaughters.

She was born July 10, 1906, to Anton and Frances Malek Neuwirth at Lost Springs. On Oct. 27, 1925, she was married to George Vinduska, who predeceased her April 30, 1985.
Survivors include sons Harold of Florence and Kenneth of Marion; daughter Margaret Stroda of Ramona; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
