Alice E. Hiebert, 88, former bookstore employee, died Dec. 26 at her home in Hillsboro. Services Alice E. Hiebert, 88, former bookstore employee, died Dec. 26 at her home in Hillsboro. Services were held Dec. 30 at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church, rural Hillsboro, with pastors Gaylord Goertzen and Vaughn Jost officiating. Burial was at Ebenfeld Cemetery. She was born April 9, 1911, to Peter Hiebert and Margaret Claassen in rural Hillsboro. Survivors include brothers, Lewis, Pete and Otto, all of Hillsboro; and a sister, Lillian Entz of Whitewater. A memorial fund has been established for the Billy Graham Crusade.
