• Mary Jo Haidar, 64,
of Wichita, died Aug. 7. She was born Oct. 26, 1948, at Topeka.
Visitation was Thursday, Aug. 9, at Baker Funeral Home in Peabody.
The graveside service was Friday, Aug. 10, at Prairie Lawn Cemetery near Peabody.
• PAUL W. MEYSING, 85,
a retired farmer and lifetime resident of Pilsen, died Monday, Aug. 6, at Salem Home in Hillsboro.
The rosary was Saturday, Aug. 11, at St. John Nepomucene, Holy Family Parish at Pilsen, followed by Mass. Burial was at Pilsen Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 4, 1927, to Joseph and Mary Reznicek Meysing near Pilsen. On May 2, 1950, he was married to Alice Schippers, who survives.
He also is survived by four sons, Don of Pilsen, Larry of Piedmont, Okla., William of Hillsboro and Greg of Canton; a brother, Richard of Garden City; a sister, Patricia Waner of Pawnee, Okla.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Zeiner Funeral Home of Marion was in charge of arrangements.
• arlene trudell, 51,
formerly of Hillsboro, died Aug. 9 in Cheyenne, Wyo.
Services were Aug. 13 at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel, 1900 E. 19th St., Cheyenne, Wyo., with pastor Gale Graves officiating. She was cremated at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
She was born Dec. 21, 1960, to Jonas and Justina Giesbrecht in Lawton, Okla. On Feb. 14, 1999, she was married to Karl Trudell, who survives.
Other survivors include children Vanessa and Quinton; father Jonas; sister Karen and Lee Dirks of Greensburg; brothers Keith and Karen Giesbrecht of Lakin and Ken and Shelly Giesbrecht of Durham and her uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

• dorothy elizabeth whitcomb,
95, accountant, business owner and librarian, died Aug. 8 at Emporia Presbyterian Manor in Emporia.
No services are planned. Burial will be at a later date in Prairie Grove Cemetery, west of Cottonwood Falls.
She was born Oct. 25, 1916, to George L. and Enid Alzine Redden Whitcomb at Cedar Point.
Survivors include brothers George Whitcomb of Botthel, Wash., Gerald Whitcomb of DeWitt, Ark., and Marcus Whitcomb of Lincoln, Neb.; sister Rhoda Whitcomb of Forney, Texas; sister-in-law Lorene Whitcomb of Marquette and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
