• WILMA L. GUTSCH, 85,
retired government employee, of Burdick, died Oct. 30 at the Morris County Hospital, Council Grove.
Services were Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Parkerville Baptist Church, 407 E Main St., Parkerville, with pastor Charles R. “Bob” Strom officiating.
Burial was at Delavan Cemetery, east of Herington.
Visitation was Nov. 4 with family available from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 404 S. Broadway, Herington, also in charge of arrangements.
• KENNETH “KEN” CLYDE JOST SR., 91,
retired petrochemical consultant, died Nov. 1 at his home in Austin, Texas.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at the French Quarter’s Clubroom, 2211 N. Loop Blvd., Austin, Texas, with Pastor Terrance Sherry officiating.
He was born Feb. 15, 1920, to the late Daniel S. and Martha (Scheikosky) Jost near Lehigh. He was married for 68 years to Jean (Betty) Elisabeth Bartel, who survives.
Other survivors include sons Ken Jr. and Norma of Austin and Carl of Morganton, N.C.; brother Gordon and Faye of Tulsa, Okla.; brother-in-law Monroe and Dutch Suderman of Oshkosh, Wis.; two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

• WILLIAM J. NELSEN, 95,
a retired pastor, died Nov. 2 at The Cedars Retirement Community in McPherson.
A memorial service was Nov. 5, at the Marion Presbyterian Church, 610 E. Lawrence St., Marion.
He was born Feb. 29, 1916 to William and Louise Fehr Nelson in St. Paul, Minn. On Sept. 7, 1946, he was married to Marjory Gregory, who predeceased him.
Survivors include son Gregory and Kendra Nelsen of Charlottesville, Va.
Memorials may be made to Westminster Woods Church Camp and sent in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St., Marion, KS, 6686.
• JULIE ANN STEWART, 53,
formerly of Hillsboro, died Nov. 6.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 15 at Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater, Okla., with Norman Richmond officiating.
She was born May 24, 1958 to Fred and Carol Anson Stewart in Hillsboro.
Survivors include her parents, Fred and Alma Stewart and Carol and Herman Anson; sons Brandon and Michelle Stewart and Frederick McFall; daughter Amanda and Judge Crigler III and Kendra Stewart; aunt Janice Laubhan, former companion John McFall; brothers Darrell Stewart, Walt and Barb Stewart, sisters LaVona Stewart and Judy and Rick May; a grandchild and his mother, Zerabeth Mitchell; one step-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
