• ELDA EVELYN EBEL, 94
homemaker, died Aug. 30 at Life Care Center of Cheyenne, Wyo.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 9, at Zion Lutheran Church, 106 N. Lincoln, Hillsboro, with pastor Brett Huebner officiating. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
She was born to Gustav A. and Martha Hiebert Matz on a farm near Lehigh. On Oct. 9, 1940, she was married to Walter Robert Ebel who predeceased her Jan. 13, 1987.
Survivors include sons Donald and Peggy Ebel of Arvada, Colo., and Dennis Ebel of Chugwater, Wyo.; daughter Debra and Rick Eccli of Cheyenne; brothers Raymond Matz of Hillsboro, Leroy Matz of Thornton, Colo., and Ronald Matz of Lehigh; sister Myrtle Nesius of Littleton, Colo.; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 106 N. Lincoln, Hillsboro, KS 67063 or the Hillsboro Senior Center, 212 N. Main St.
Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes, 1900 E. 19th St., Cheyenne, WY 82001, was in charge of arrangements.
• DEAN R. GLAHN,
73, farmer and stockman, died Aug. 30 at his home in Gypsum.
Services were Sept. 2, at Roxbury United Parish, 110 S. Lane, Roxbury, with pastor Nancy Modin officiating. Burial was at Valley View Cemetery in Roxbury.
He was born March 28, 1938, to Henry and Gladys Vermillion Glahn in McPherson. On Aug. 25, 1961, he was married to Mary Ann Knaak, who survives.
Other survivors include son Gary Dean and Jamie Glahn of Gypsum; daughter, Judy Ann Lawson of Salina; brother Dean and Chris Glahn of McPherson; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Roxbury United Parish or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and sent in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 N. Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460, also in charge of arrangements.
