• Ola “fern” blackford, 91, a homemaker, died Nov. 18 at Salem Home in Hillsboro.
A graveside service was Nov. 22, at Whitewater Cemetery, Whitewater.
She was born Nov. 12, 1919, to Ralph and Queen Hardesty in Englewood. On Jan. 1, 1941, she was married to Boyd Blackford, who predeceased her March 4, 1989.
Survivors include daughter Twila and Steve Lackey of Hutchinson; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and other friends and relatives.

• Milton h. goerzen, 85, an elevator supervisor at Cargill, died Nov. 4 at Besthesda Home, Goessel.
A memorial service was Nov. 8 at Tabor Mennonite Church. Burial was at Tabor Mennonite Church Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 13, 1924, to Jake J. and Sarah (Schroeder) Goerzen in Goessel. On Sept. 4, 1946, he was married to Alice Reimer, who survives.
Other survivors include sons Larry and Dora Goerzen of rural Newton and Mike Goerzen of rural Newton; daughters Jennifer and Royce Flaming of rural Newton, Shelley and Jon Buller of rural Hillsboro; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister Alice Funk and brother Willis Goerzen.

• Myrtle s. mohn, 95, a retired bookkeeper, died Nov. 17 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.
Services were Nov. 22 at Hillsboro United Methodist Church with pastor Charles Grant officiating.
She was born Dec. 7, 1914, to Peter J. and Susanna (Schmidt) Voth in Goessel. On May 20, 1947, she was married to Sam Mohn, who predeceased her in 2001.
Survivors include daughter Carolyn and John Webster of McPherson; brothers Leon Voth and Bart Voth; sisters Ruby Funk, Lillian Brady, Maxine Bolte; one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

• Betty A. oursler, 84, died Nov. 15 at Via Christi-St Francis in Wichita.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 229 Walnut St., Marion. Burial will be at Marion Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.
She was born April 30, 1926, to Fred and Nanna Mae (Sloan) Davis in Hutchinson. On June 29, 1942, she was married to Raymond Oursler, who predeceased her Aug. 11.
Survivors include children Terry and Nancy Oursler of Geuda Springs, Chris and Thomas Holmes of Wichita and Pauline and Barry Caldwell of Colorado Springs, Colo.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
