a homemaker of Marion, died May 16 at Via Christi Village—Broadmoor of Wichita.
Services were held May 19 at Eastmoor United Methodist Church, Marion. Burial was at Marion Cemetery.
She was born April 28, 1927, to Adolph and Tina (Martinez) Escobar in Herington. On Oct. 28, 1948, she was married to A. J. Coe, who predeceased her.
Survivors include children Becky and Gary Cameron of Klamath Falls, Ore., Catherine and William Patterson of Berryton, George and Wanda Hett-Coe of Wichita, James and Gail Coe of Bel Aire and Janith Coe of Salem, Ore.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and five siblings.
Memorials may be made to the Marion Food Bank and sent in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St....

• cynthia SUE BENTZ, 57,a homemaker and farmer, died May 7 at her home in Lindsborg.
Services were May 11 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Tampa. Burial was at North Tampa Cemetery.
She was born April 19, 1955, to Stanley and Eva (Oakleaf) Anderson of Lindsborg. On Dec. 7, 1975, she was married to Myron Paul Bentz, who predeceased her in 1997.
Survivors include children Crysta and Matt Clymer, Dawn and Jay Osborne, Paul Bentz and Carl Bentz and friend Ashleigh Arnold; siblings Lynn and Max Elsberry of Stillwater, Okla., Debra and Morton Pointon of Dolgeville, N.Y., Shawn Anderson of Port Washington, Wis., Roger and Jane Anderson of Lindsborg and Steven and Chena Anderson of Ruckersville, Va., and five grandchildren.

of Florence, an entertainer, died May 6 at Asbury Park in Newton.
A private burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Florence.
A public memorial service will be announced at a later date.
He was born Sept. 28, 1919, to James E. and Mary Etta Boyd Davidson at Walnut. On Jan. 26, 1947, he was married to Eleanor Grimwood, who survives.
Other survivors include sons Steve and Judy of Newton and Jeff and Kelley of Eureka; four grandchildren; brother Joe of Denver, Colo., and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Florence Public Library and sent in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm, Marion, KS, 66861.

retired teacher and coach of Buhler, died April 28 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 2 at Buhler Mennonite Church, 220 West Ave. B, Buhler, with pastor Bob Dalke officiating. Burial will follow at Buhler Cemetery.
He was born April 5, 1923, to Isaac and Tena Adrian Balzer at Inman. On Dec. 28, 1945, he was married to Darlene Steinert at McPherson, who survives.
Other survivors include daughter Susie Caster of Wichita; brother Robert of Topeka; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Buhler High School and sent in care of Buhler Mortuary, 120 N. Main St., Buhler, KS 67522, also in charge of arrangements.

• geraldine i. “gerri” hett-williams, 87,a business owner, died April 17 in Marion.
Services were April 21 at Aulne United Methodist Church. Burial was at Claney Cemetery.
She was born June 27, 1924, to John and Blanche (Ware) Manuel. In 1942, she was married to Thomas B. Hett, who preceded her in 1983. She was later married to Kenneth Williams, who predeceased her in 1998.
Survivors include children Rocky and Shirley Jo Hett of Marion, Bruce and Sandy Hett of McPherson, LaVonda and Lew Rothman of Morristown, N.J., Shelley and Tom Stafford of Hays; Teresa and Bill Higgins of Burlington, N.C., and Jack and Donna Hett of Marion; sister Jackie Hett of Marion; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
