• MARION ETHEL ROSINE, 68,a housekeeper of Peabody, died Aug. 29 at Parkside Home in Hillsboro.
Services were Sept. 1 at Peabody United Methodist Church with pastor David Ragland officiating. Burial was at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
Memorials may be made to Peabody United Methodist Church and sent in care of Baker Funeral Home, 114 Sycamore, Peabody, KS 66866.
• “COACH” GENE PRUITT, 75,
longtime coach and teacher, who was a football coach at Herington High School from 1975 to 1981, died Aug. 30 at Life Care Center of Burlington.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at First Christian Church, 202 E. 12th Ave., Emporia. Visitation is also at the church from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5.

of Florence, a certified dietary manager at West View Manor in Peabody, died Aug. 20 at her home.
A memorial service was Aug. 27 at Zeiner Funeral Home, 104 W. Fifth St., Florence.
She was born Feb. 18, 1950, to Charles Ray and Helen Louise Ellis Baker.
Survivors include children Charles Rabalais of New Orleans, La., Jamie and Reyes Martinez of Newton and Jeremy and Lacey Bailey of Florence; siblings Karen Sue Davis of Hardy, La., Robert Ray Baker of Seattle, Wash., and Danny Joe Baker of Lamont and nine grandchildren.

• marsha k. geren, 69,of McPherson, a Walmart employee, died Aug. 14 at her home.
The service was Aug. 18 at First United Methodist Church, McPherson. Burial was at Marquette Cemetery.
She was born Dec. 10, 1942, to Lewis L. and Josephine A. Potts Graham in Richland County, Ill.
Survivors include sons Allen R. and Susan Geren of Galva and Kevin W. and Janet Geren of Marion; daughter Brenda L. and Tom Hoffman, McPherson; her mother of Marquette; brother Lewis L. and Barbara Graham Jr. of Abilene; 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

• Mary Jo Haidar, 64,of Wichita, died Aug. 7. She was born Oct. 26, 1948, at Topeka.
Visitation was Thursday, Aug. 9, at Baker Funeral Home in Peabody.
The graveside service was Friday, Aug. 10, at Prairie Lawn Cemetery near Peabody.
• PAUL W. MEYSING, 85,
a retired farmer and lifetime resident of Pilsen, died Monday, Aug. 6, at Salem Home in Hillsboro.
The rosary was Saturday, Aug. 11, at St. John Nepomucene, Holy Family Parish at Pilsen, followed by Mass. Burial was at Pilsen Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 4, 1927, to Joseph and Mary Reznicek Meysing near Pilsen. On May 2, 1950, he was married to Alice Schippers, who survives.

• Earlene Hague, 84,former school board clerk and secretary to USD 408 superintendent and formerly of Marion, died Aug. 2 at Newton Medical Center.
The funeral service is 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Valley United Methodist Church in Marion. Burial will be in Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
Visitation was 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion.
She was born April 19, 1928, to Edward and Mildred (Beeton) Nicklaus at Haven. On June 16, 1946, she was married to Willard Hague, who predeceased her.
