Doris Louis, 85, retired Federal civil servant, died Jan. 29 at Love and Care Adult Family Home in Mill Creek, Wash.There will not be a formal funeral service. She will be buried with her husband, Lawrence G. Louis, at Tahoma National Cemetery in Covington, Wash.
A twin, she was born on Aug. 24, 1922, to Morgan and Mary Lewis in Marion.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in law, Gwen and Steven Kerber of Bothell, Wash.; a sister and brother-in law, Dorothy and Leo Scharenberg of Hillsboro; nieces and nephews; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
A memorial fund has been established with Providence Hospice of Seattle Foundation, 425 Pontius Ave. N, Suite 300, Seattle, WA 98109.

Gertrude J. Rziha, 92, of Great Bend, homemaker, died Jan. 21 at Alterra Sterling House in Great Bend.The funeral was Jan. 25 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend. She was buried at the Holy Family Cemetery in Odin.
She was born Feb. 28, 1915, to Emil and Josephine Zorn Schneweis in Odin. On Aug. 23, 1938, she was married to Frank H. Rziha, who predeceased her.

Hazel M. Evans, 78, homemaker, died Jan. 28 at McPherson Memorial Hospital.The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1 at the funeral home.
She was born July 27, 1929, to John and Flarra (Brannon) Lucas in Foracre, Okla. On Aug. 3, 1965, she was married to Wilbur Evans, who predeceased her.

Raymond K. Burch, 83, of Canton, retired truck driver for John E. Jones Oil Co. of Woodston, died Jan. 28 at the Hillsboro Community Medical Center.The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1 at Canton Christian Church. He will be buried at Canton Township Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 at Olson’s Mortuary in Canton.
He was born Dec. 23, 1924, to George Alfred and Mary Bliss Shayler Burch in Hollis. On May 31, 1949, he was married to Betty Bisnett who survives in Canton.

Goldie Loretta Franz, 84, homemaker, died Jan. 29 at Salem Nursing Home in Hillsboro.The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1 at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro. She will be buried at Haven of Rest Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
She was born May 15, 1923, to Peter and Marie Loewen Stubby in Lehigh. On July 25, 1947, she was married to Joel Franz, who survives in Hillsboro.
She is also survived by a daughter, Deanna M. and Dennis Jantz of Park City; a daughter-in-law, Marlys Plett of Hillsboro; a sister, Maurine Martens of Hillsboro, nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchild.
