? MARVIN ENSZ, 90, of Hillsboro, died July 14 at Parkside Home in Hillsboro.

The service is at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 22 at Alexanderfeld Mennonite Church, 1806 Holly Road, Hillsboro.

He was born Aug. 20, 1924 to P.K. and Marie (Dyck) Ensz at Inman. His wife, Pearl, survives.

Other survivors include sons Galen and wife Teresa of rural Hillsboro, Larry and wife Karen of rural Hillsboro; daughters Carol Ensz of Hillsboro, Verna Ensz of Hillsboro, Joyce and husband Terry Ensz of Cimarron, and Lois Ensz of Hillsboro; brother Abe and wife Louise of rural Hillsboro; sister Linda and husband Bernie Regehr of Moundridge and 11 grandchildren.

? JOAN E. JACOBSEN, 61, of Newton and employed with Prairie View, died July 11 at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.

A graveside service was July 18 at Hesston Cemetery.

She was born Sept. 29, 1953, to Edgar Willis ‘Ed’ and Helen Maxine (Taylor) Auernheimer at El Dorado. On Sept. 29, 1984, she was married to Glenn Alexander Jacobsen, who predeceased her Nov. 23, 1985.

Survivors include her father; brothers Lynn and wife Maxine of Canton and Anthony ?Tony? and wife Audrey of Watts, Okla.; sister Carol Gibbens of Newton; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

? FIENNES JANTZ, 91, died July 12 at Salem Home, Hillsboro. The service was July 17 at Durham Baptist Church, Durham.

He was born Dec, 5, 1923, to Ben and Alma (Johnson) Jantz at Durham. On April 19, 1953, he was married to Arlene Holmes, who predeceased him in 1995.

Survivors include daughter Jerrie Sue Hoover of Griggstown, N.J.; brothers Manford Jantz of Middletown, Conn., Gerald Jantz of St. George, Utah, and Kenneth Jantz of Mesa, Ariz.; sisters Joan Huntoon, Donna Phillips, Evelyn Potts and Shirley Branch, all of Wichita; four grandchildren.

? DELLA LEE SCHLEHUBER MEIER, 79, of Canton and former tour director and operator of Maxwell Wildlife Refuge, died July 15 at McPherson Hospital in McPherson.

The graveside service was July 30 at Canton Township Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 17, 1935, to Edward W. and Della Lee (Ratley) Farrell at McPherson. On June 7, 1953, she was married to Donald Wayne Schlehuber, who predeceased her on Feb. 5, 1970. Later she was married Sept. 10, 1976 to Owen Lee Meier, who survives.

Other survivors include daughters Maryl Williams and Cheryl and husband Wayne Everhart, all of Canton and Julie and husband Mike Butler of McPherson; sister Jeanne and husband Dennis Hett of Canton; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

? JACOB WILLARD RICHERT, 88, a lifetime farmer of Goessel, died July 17. A private graveside service was July 19 at Lehigh.

He was born in Goessel, July 24, 1926 to Henry J. Richert and Elizabeth Warkentein. On Sept. 1, 1953, he was married to Mary (Dueck) Richert, who survives.

Other survivors include children Vernon and wife Tammy Richert, Darlene and Mark Beranek, Karen and Greg Dirksen, Ron Richert and Arlin Richert; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren

? LILA G. RICHTER, 86, of Aulne, a retired certified medical assistant, died July 14.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at Aulne United Methodist Church, Aulne, with pastor Jeff Lee officiating.

She was born Nov. 14, 1928, to Samuel H. Schmidt and Justine (Hiebert) Schmidt at Walton. On Nov. 4, 1949, she was married to Jesse Richter, who predeceased her.

Survivors include Sandy Murphree of Estes Park, Colo., Jroy of Baxter Springs, Randy of Peabody and Bradley of Windom; sister Nora of Marion; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

? MARVIN E. SERVISS, 66, of Canton, a retired machinist, died July 15 at McPherson Hospital.

A memorial service was July 18 at Olson?s Mortuary, 139 N. Main St., Canton. A graveside service will be at a later date.

He was born June 25, 1949, to Harry Dale and Ruby Pauline (Liggett) Serviss at Wichita. On Sept. 4, 1971, he was married to Martha J. Scott, who survives.

Other survivors include daughters Lillian and husband Brian Rhea of McPherson, and Rebecca Serviss and Deborah Koehn, both of Canton; his mother of Chaffee, Mo.; brothers Jim and wife Joan Serviss of Laurel, Mont., and Steve and wife Barbara Serviss of Crossville, Tenn.; sister Cindy Purcell of Mayfield, Ky., and four grandchildren.
