The event is a fundraiser for Wyldlife-Young Life Ministry, a non-denominational group focusing on introducing Christ to teens who are unchurched and then helping them plug into local congregations so their faith can be nurtured.
The movie, “Soul Surfer,” is a true story of a young girl’s faith, family and fight to get back on her surfboard after losing her arm in a shark attack.
The movie will be shown in the sanctuary starting at 7 p.m. Admission is $1 per person or a food item for the Main Street Food Bank. Summer Sizzle Kids will also be selling concessions to raise funds to send at-risk kids to a Wyldlife Camp.
