Hillsboro woman turns 100 years old

Audrey Berg is celebrating her 100th birthday with an open house from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 14 at Parkside Homes, 200 Willow Road, Hillsboro.

Card shower for Rediker’s 85th



Marvin Rediker is celebrating his 85th birthday on Veteran’s Day, Nov. 11.

“It has always been a special day for him and he served in the U.S. Army,” said daughter Sharon Hand.

Rediker has been commander of the VFW Post in Marion and is a member of the Hillsboro American Legion. He is past president of the Marion County Fair Board, Durham School Board and Durham Lions...
