Jeremy and Abbey Schmidt of McPherson announce the birth of their son, Corbin Robert, at 4:19 p.m. May 18 at McPherson Memorial Hospital in McPherson.

He weighed 4 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 18.5 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Phil and Julie Kornelson of McPherson.

Paternal grandparents are Leroy Schmidt of McPherson and Diane and Terry Rahe of Lake Kanopolas.

Great-grandparents are Malvin and Darlene Schmidt of Hillsboro and Betty Carlson, Hattie Kornelson and Adam Opat of McPherson.
