Marion couple celebrate 50 years

Bud and Tressie Kelsey of Marion are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, with a “come and go” reception at Marion Christian Church, 140 Elm St., Marion.

They were married Aug. 5, 1962, at Marion Christian Church. Their children are Kevin Kelsey of Marion and Scott and Deanna Kelsey of Hillsboro.

Bud is retired from the city of Marion and Tressie retired after working in Paul Unruh’s medical office.

The anniversary reception is being hosted by friends and family of the couple. Those planning to attend are asked to dress casual and no gifts are requested.
