Hillsboro couple to celebrate 50th

Gerald and Joan (Krehbiel) Jost of Hillsboro are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house/reception from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 3, at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, 300 Prairie Pointe.

They were married June 1, 1962, at First Mennonite Church in Pretty Prairie and reside near Hillsboro, having been involved in farming.

The couple’s children are hosting the celebration. They include Marla and Royce Vogt of Harper, Doyle and Melissa Jost of Hillsboro, Vaughn and Taryn Jost of Littleton, Colo., and the Josts’ nine grandchildren.
