Public invited to Martens’ reception

Jim and Virginia Martens of Hillsboro are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary with a public come-and-go reception from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. March 24 at the Hillsboro Scout House.

They were married March 25, 1972, and have two children, Jessica and husband Mitch Frantz of Hillsboro, and Matt and wife Abby Martens of McPherson. The couple also have four grandchildren.

The reception is being hosted by their children. The couple request no gifts.
