Marion couple celebrate 50 years

Bud and Tressie Kelsey of Marion are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, with a “come and go” reception at Marion Christian Church, 140 Elm St., Marion.

They were married Aug. 5, 1962, at Marion Christian Church. Their children are Kevin Kelsey of Marion and Scott and Deanna Kelsey of Hillsboro.

Bud is retired from the city of Marion and Tressie retired after working in Paul Unruh’s medical office.

The anniversary reception is being hosted by friends and family of the couple. Those planning to attend are asked to dress casual and no gifts are requested.

Couple to celebrate 50th anniversary

Larry and Diane (Clark) Nelson of Cassoday are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. July 28.

They were married July 29, 1962, in Burns.

The Nelson’s three children, their spouses and eight grandchildren are hosting the event.

Extended family and friends are invited to attend the celebration.

Peabody couple to celebrate 50th

A reception will be held to honor Graeme and Diane Glaser for their 50th wedding anniversary from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. July 22 at the Peabody Senior Center.

The Glasers were married Aug. 31, 1962. The Glasers have lived in the Peabody area in since 1978.

Their three children, Curt, Dawn and Kent and their spouses, plus eight grandchildren are hosting the event.

No gifts are wished for but cards with favorite memories or pictures are welcome, as the gift of friendship matters most.

Hillsboro couple to celebrate 50th

Gerald and Joan (Krehbiel) Jost of Hillsboro are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house/reception from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 3, at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, 300 Prairie Pointe.

They were married June 1, 1962, at First Mennonite Church in Pretty Prairie and reside near Hillsboro, having been involved in farming.

The couple’s children are hosting the celebration. They include Marla and Royce Vogt of Harper, Doyle and Melissa Jost of Hillsboro, Vaughn and Taryn Jost of Littleton, Colo., and the Josts’ nine grandchildren.
