Holtsclaws to mark 50th anniversary
Keith and Norine Fadely Holtsclaw will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Marion Senior Center, 308 S. Third.
The couple resides in Marion. Keith is a retired U.S. Army NCO and a retired diesel mechanic.
Morgans celebrate 50th anniversary
Robert and Marjorie Morgan of Peabody will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, at Peabody United Methodist Church.
The couple was married Dec. 15, 1957, at Burns United Methodist Church.
The couple request no gifts.
Anniversary- Thurstons to mark 50th anniversary

James and JoAnn (Buchman) Thurston of Burdick will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their children and grandchildren from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at Elmdale United Methodist Church in Elmdale.A dinner for the immediate family will follow the reception at Grand Central Hotel in Cottonwood Falls.
The Thurstons were married Nov. 24, 1957, at Elmdale United Methodist Church. They owned and operated oilfield tank and fitting manufacturing companies in Kansas and Texas. JoAnn Thurston later retired as a medical transcriptionist with the Texas State Hospital system.
Their children are Lou and Lori Thurston of Hillsboro, Deb and Terry Scott of Allen, Texas, Kirk and Angela Thurston of Harper...
Anniversary- Abrahams to mark 60th anniversary

Ray and Sylvia Abrahams of Hillsboro will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 with an open house at Hillsboro First Mennonite Church.
The Abrahams were married Nov. 30, 1947, in Hillsboro.
The event will be hosted by their children, Beverly Klein of Fort Collins, Colo., Kim Abrahams of Hillsboro, Rex Abrahams of Canton, and Dawn Abrahams of Moundridge. The couple also has five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The couple requests no gifts.

Jona and Mary Baltzer of Hillsboro will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, at the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church fellowship hall, 300 Prairie Pointe.
The Baltzers were married Oct. 30, 1947, at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church, rural Hillsboro. They have two children, Carol and Dwayne Janzen, and Doug and Shirley Balzer; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Browns celebrate 65th Anniversary

Levi and Georgia Brown of Hillsboro will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Oct. 3.
The Browns were married in 1942 in Marion. They have two children, JoAnn Taku of San Jose, Calif., and Jerald Brown of Whiteville, Tenn; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
