Bill and Elaine (Winter) Stoltenberg of Hillsboro were married Dec. 31, 1960 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wichita. The couple lived in Westminster, Colo., until 1966.
He worked at Leajet for 13 years and then went to Boeing Aircraft in 1983. They then moved to Marion in 1986.
He retired from Boeing in 1991 and his wife taught ceramics for many years.
In retirement, they have traveled and enjoy their grandchildren and friends.
The family has planned a 50th wedding anniversary dinner ifor them at Brookville Hotel in Abilene.
The couple have two children, David, who is deceased, and daughter Cheryl and Jay Christensen. They also have two grandchildren.

Peabody couple to celebrate 50th
Dan and Alice (Myers) Stucky of Peabody will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, at Burns Community Center, 301 N. Washington, Burns.
They were married Dec. 6, 1960, at First Mennonite Church of Burns. For the first 27 1?2 years of their marriage, they lived in Burns and the past 22 1?2 years, they have lived in Peabody.
The reception is hosted by children Dale and Molly Stucky and Darla Brunner.
In addition to their two children, they have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to the celebration and no gifts are requested.

Ken and Carolee (Balzer) Neufeld of Hillsboro will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a come-and-go reception from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., with a program from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Nov. 28 at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro.
Daughters, Kathy (Neufeld) and Michael Dunn of McPherson and Lori Neufeld of Fairbanks, Alaska, will host the event.
They were married Nov. 25, 1960, at Brudertal Mennonite Church, near Hillsboro, by pastor Walter Neufeld.
He was an optometrist for 15 years in Hutchinson before moving to Hillsboro in 1979, taking over Franklin Harms’ practice until his retirement in 1999.

Peabody couple celebrates 25 years
Harold J. and Sharlene L. (Brunner) Brooks of Peabody are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 21 at Peabody Senior Center, 106 N. Walnut St., Peabody.
They were married Nov. 16, 1985, at Peabody Christian Church.
The couple’s children, brothers, sister and other family members are hosting the celebration.
Friends and relatives are invited. No gifts are requested.

Couple celebrates 50th anniversary
Bob and Arleen Moffett of rural Peabody will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends after milo harvest in December.
On Oct. 29, 1960, they were married at Moundridge Methodist Church in Moundridge.
For the past 49 1?2 years, they have lived on a farm seven miles southeast of Peabody.
Bob Moffett was a structural engineering supervisor for 33 years at Boeing Co. until his retirement in 1991. The Moffetts continue to be full-time grain farmers.
They have two children, Mitch (Vivian) Moffett and Janice (Tim Ross) and two grandchildren, Spencer Moffett and Kadin Moffett, all residing in the Peabody area.
