The family of Arthur Mueller of Tampa is requesting a card shower for his 85th birthday.
He will be celebrating this special day Feb. 23.
For almost 64 years, he has been married to Betty Popp and they have farmed east of Tampa all their lives.
In 2009, he moved to the St. Luke Living Center and his wife continues to live on the farm.
They have three sons, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Hrabe, Abrahams plan June wedding
Shane and Laura Hrabe of McPherson announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Lindsay Hrabe, to Dustin Abrahams, son of Rex and De?Vonne Abrahams of Canton.
The bride-to-be is graduating from McPherson College in the spring earning a degree in business management.
The groom-elect will also graduate in the spring from Bethel College earning his degree in business.
The couple are planning a June 22 wedding in McPherson.

The center is having its annual fundraising event March 16 at the Milk & Honey Bed and Breakfast, which includes meal and music for $100.
All proceeds go to support the center. Anyone who would like their name on the list for tickets is asked to call.
Activities planned this week include Bingo after the noon meal on Feb. 13. The Valentine’s Day dinner is Feb. 14 and there are a few spots still available.
Mary McFadden will be here Feb. 12 and March 12 for footcare. If interested, call for an appointment.
Haris Zafar is available Feb. 20 for hearing aid checks on the first-come, first-served.
Our business meeting is also Feb. 20 during our noon meal.

Kansas Rep. Don Schroeder (R-Hesston, District 74) and Sen. Jay Emler (R-Lindsborg, District 35) have scheduled an “Eggs & Issues” stop for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, in the Goessel Community Room.
The purpose of the gathering is to update constituents on the work of the Kansas Legislature in Topeka and to invite comments and questions.

Family seeks card shower for Kerbs
The family of Lucille Kerbs of Tampa is requesting a card shower for her 80th birthday. She will be celebrating this special day Feb. 15.
She was married to the late Reuben Kerbs for 56 years and she has lived all of her adult life in Tampa.
She has four children, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her family plans to celebrate her birthday with a luncheon in her honor Saturday, Feb. 16 in Abilene.
