Meghan Gentry and Matthew Esau, both of Tulsa, Okla., announce their engagement and approaching marriage.The bride-elect is the daughter of Doug and Mary Gentry of Mishawaka, Ind. Lisa Anne Stone and Christopher Vincent Licause were united in marriage May 19 at the Botanic Gardens in Denver, Colo, with Jim Barrington officiating.Parents of the couple are J.L. and Tammy Stone of Overland Park and Mary Licause of Woodstock, N.Y. Grandparents of the bride are Rosse and Janice Case of Marion and Middo Stone of Overland Park.
Melissa Brown and Cassie Horn, friends of the bride, served as greeters.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless A-line ivory gown with an empire café color accent-band continuing around to the back of the gown to finish with two flowing sashes extending to the train. She wore white dendrobium orchids in her hair.

Melissa Garcia and Toby Whiteside were married April 14 at the Harvey County Courthouse in Newton with Judge Walker presiding.The bride is the daughter of Cy and Ginger Garcia of Florence. The groom is the son of Brian and Tammy Whiteside of Peabody and Marilyn and Roger Koehn of Newton.
The bride wore a long, white dress with spaghetti straps and carried a bouquet of blue and white roses.
Maid of honor was Amber Wilson, sister-in-law and friend of the bride.
Best man was Nathan Diaz, friend of the groom.
Photographer was Lee Becker.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Peabody American Legion.

Delbert HammDelbert Hamm, 73, contracted milk hauler, died July 8 in Newton.
Visitation with family receiving guests is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
The service is at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Durham with Curtis Wiens officiating.
He was born June 16, 1934, to Edward and Bertha (Hill) Hamm in Hillsboro. He was married to Linda Hamm, who died in 1982. On July 6, 1984, he was married to Carolyn Turner, who survives in rural Hillsboro.

Jennifer and Chris Sauerwein of rural Newton announce the birth of a daughter, Mackenzie Lynn, born May 30 at Newton Medical Center.
She weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long.
She joins brother Cody Thomas, 2.
Grandparents are Daryl and Pat Enos of Marion and Cheryl Sauerwein and Terry Sauerwein, both of Newton.
Great-grandparents are Pyllis and Eugene Enos and Charles Kjellin, all of Marion, and Louise Janzen and Ila Jean Sauerwein, both of Newton.
