Janet Robinson was then sworn in as interim city clerk and court clerk with a retroactive pay increase to $10 per hour from the time she took over Darla Gore’s duties.
Lee Leiker, Rex Savage and Chris Sprowls were sent by the USD 408 school board to gauge the interest of the council in the city taking ownership of the old school gymnasium. The council will review the proposal and let the school board know whether the city will accept the property for $1.
The council also heard one city well has not been certified. The council decided to have the water tested in case it needs to be used. If it were used, the city would send a “boil water advisory” with the water bills.
