Women’s Health Night set Nov. 13

The seventh-annual Women’s Health Night is planned for Nov. 13 at Trinity Mennonite Church, 211 Elm St., Hillsboro.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with merchants displaying items or products for viewing or to purchase.
Presentations will begin at 7 p.m. and include Susie Kliewer, “Yarn is Cheaper Than Therapy” (The benefits of knitting); Manirva Earple Hickenooper speaking about “How to Live a Long, Happy and Healthy Life,” and Shauna Kern, physician, speaking on the topic of “Know Your Numbers.”
The event is sponsored by Greenhaw Pharmacy, Hillsboro Community Hospital, Parkside Homes and Trinity Mennonite Church.
Another feature of this year’s event is having cards initialed at local stores from now until Nov. 13. For every business that a person gets signed on their card, they will get $10 if their card is selected. Those attending have the chance to potentially win $130.
In addition to the cash prizes, about 20 door prizes will be given away.
