Schroeder meets new constituents

Rep. Don Schroeder of Hesston was in Hillsboro last Tuesday noon for the Chamber of Commerce luncheon. Hillsboro became part of Schroeder’s district in the Kansas House of Representatives after the Kansas Supreme Court redrew district lines earlier this year to accommodate shifts in population growth. Schroeder, a member of the House Taxation Com­mittee, talked about Gov. Brownback’s tax-reduction plan and its potential impact on the state budget this next year.
