Six Appeal generates fan appeal at Florence

Members of the a capella vocal band Six Appeal move to the music during their Saturday evening concert on the Main Street stage at the Florence Labor Day Cele­bration. About 300 people turned out for the two-hour concert by the Minnesota-based group that includes Marion native Michael Brookens (far right in the above photo). The group injected humor and choreographed moves to go with their upbeat contemporary songs from the past few decades. A standing ovation at the end prompted one last number to the delight of their audience.
