Stream train to pass through Marion

An authentic special steam train with an ambassador locomotive will pass through Marion’s Main Street Railroad crossing at 9:45 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7.

The train will be carrying 51 U.S. soldiers who have been injured in Iraq or Afghanistan.

The locomotive was built in the 1940s and will stop for 30-minutes for the public to view.
