Laurel Ruth Tippin of Elbing and Wyatt James Farney of Stafford, together with their parents, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of R.J. and Mary Ellen Tippin of Elbing. She is a graduate of Berean Academy and is a junior at the College of Human Ecology at Kansas State University.
Her fiance is the son of Tyler and Keva Farney of Stafford. He is a graduate of Stafford High School and is a senior in the KSU College of Agriculture. He is employed by the KSU athletic department.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 3 at First Baptist Church in Wichita.
