Francis and Mary Jirak of Tampa announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, Albert Joseph Jirak, to Teresa Lynn Gfeller, daughter of Bruce and Janet Gfeller of Lincoln, Neb.
Grandparents are James and Julietta Seiler of Colwich, Margaret Jirak of Tampa, the late Leo Jirak, Lester "Rex" Gfeller of Lincoln, the late Sally Gfeller, and the late John and Janeth Hanigan.
The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of St. Pius X High School in Lincoln and is pursuing a degree in secondary education with an emphasis in science and a minor in horticulture at Kansas State University.
The groom-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Centre High School in Lost Springs and intends to graduate in May with a degree in computer engineering from KSU.
The couple plans to be married July 26 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lincoln.
