Come to the Senior Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for foot care and blood pressure checks Thursday, May 18. Mary McFadden, R.N., will be available. On May 19, Men’s Coffee is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Come for cookies, coffee and conversation and join in fun and games. The May birthday dinner is planned for noon, May 22. After lunch, a video, “A Visit to the White House,” will be shown. This is a recent presentation filmed during the present administration. Games, gab and goodies will be on tap after lunch May 24. Bring friends and games. A snack will be served at 3 p.m. The following volunteered their time at the center last week. Kitchen: Gladys Jantz, Mildred Jantz, Irma Koop, Irma Groening, Judy Malin, Nellie Jost, Hilda Ratzloff, Velda Hiebert. Meal drivers: Elgin Bartel and Al and Jeri Klose. FISH transportation: Eldon Knak, Irene Seibel, Marie Jost and Sam Ratzloff. SENIOR MENU May 17: Covered dish. May 18: Pepper steak over rice, green beans, whole wheat roll, applesauce Jell-O. May 19: Lemon fish, pasta verde, tossed salad, whole wheat bread, apricot salad. May 22: Chuckwagon steak, parsley potatoes, carrots lyonnaise, whole wheat roll, strawberries/peaches in Jell-O, cake.
