In a field of 16 teams, the Centre Cougars squad of Kacey Hanschu, Ryan Richmond, Josh Olsen, Heath Hill, Jacob Jennings and Trevor Troutt combined to score 396 and finished in 13th place at the Saint Mary’s Invitational on Tuesday.
The Wamego team claimed first place by reaching the clubhouse in 323 strokes, followed by Sabetha (324) and Jefferson West (331).
Trout led the team to the finish with a score of 95. That put him 45th out of 96 golfers at the event.
Hill’s 99 was the 54th best score of the day.
Jennings and Richmond each shot 101, followed by Olsen (109) and Hanschu (113).
