Litwiller, Voth wed in Hopedale, Ill.

LitwillerVothWedding.jpg Elise S. Litwiller and Christopher D. Voth were married at 4 p.m. May 31 at Hopedale (Ill.) Mennonite Church.

Curt Walker officiated and Kevin Goertzen gave the meditation.

The bride is the daughter of Russ and Sherry Litwiller of Hopedale.

The groom is the son of Dwight and Jane Ann Voth of Goessel.

Grandparents are Irvin and Marla Starry of West Unity, Ohio, and Marvin and Linda Voth of Goessel.


Mueller, Stoll share wedding vows

StollAshley-&-Brett-Stoll.jpg Ashley Renee Mueller and Brett Adam Stoll were married at 5 p.m. Sept. 8 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Salina with Leroy Pralle officiating the double-ring ceremony.

Parents are Alan and Cindy Mueller of Assaria and Paul and Helen Stoll of Yates Center.

Grandparents are Marguerite and the late Marion Jirak of Lincolnville, Maxine and the late Werner “Bing” Mueller of Tampa, Marjorie and the late Clayton Peck of Yates Center, and Calvin and Lola Stoll of Buffalo.

Maid of honor was Chelsey Mueller, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Kerri Schlef, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Megan McElroy, friend of the bride, and Shelley Plett, aunt of the bride.

Flower girls were Caysia Crellin, niece of the groom, and Tanner Plett, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Brian Ladd, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Quentin Stoll, brother of the groom, Dan Weisenberger and Jay St. Clair, friends of the groom.

Ushers were Eric Schleff, brother-in-law of the bride, J.D. Stoll, brother of the groom, Nick Regier and Erik Rotramel, friends.

The bride’s personal attendant was Jillian Ladd, friend of the bride.

Musicians were April Mick, pianist, Emily Clement, soloist, and Rojean Loucks, harpist.

Candle lighters were Laura Armendariz and Mary Gleason. Scripture reader was Erin Grennan.

Guest-book attendants were Beth Mueller and Maria Stoll. Gift attendants were Clayton Crellin, Kyler Sager and Michael Montgomery.

Following the ceremony, the couple drove away in the groom’s grandparent’s 1930 Model A to Jerry Ivey Park for pictures while their guests had hor dourves at the reception site.

Reception hosts were Rich and Susie Mueller, aunt and uncle of the bride, and Terry and Janette Stoll, aunt and uncle of the groom. The dinner reception was coordinated by Francie Mueller, aunt of the bride, and assisted by Eric and Kristin Bunnell, cousins of the bride.

The wedding cake was cut with the knife used at the bride’s parent’s wedding in 1978, and her sister’s wedding in 2006. The cake was served by Cassie Jones, Courtney Sager, and Megan and Sarah Stoll.

Ice cream was served by Steve Jirak, Randy Jirak, Dennis Carroll, and Calvin Jr. Stoll.

The bride is a graduate of Southeast of Saline High School and Kansas State University. She is a kindergarten teacher at Crestview Elementary in the Shawnee Mission School District.

The groom graduated from Yates Center High School and Kansas State University. He is an assistant grain merchandiser for Lansing Trade Group in Overland Park.

Following a Caribben cruise honeymoon, the couple resides in Olathe.
