Helen Maxine (Taylor) Auernheimer, 86, died July 13 at Newton Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. July 17 at the Goessel Mennonite Church. Burial will be at the Hesston City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., July 16 at Miller Funeral Home in Goessel.
She was born Nov. 12, 1921 to Thomas William and Una May (Patterson) Taylor in Augusta. On June 8, 1941, she was married to Edgar Willis Auernheimer, who survives.
She is also survived by five children, Lynn Auernheimer and Maxine O’Neill of Canton, Cheryl Hoffman of Carlsbad, Calif., Carol Gibbens of Halstead, Joan Jacobsen of Newton, and Anthony and Audrey Auernheimer of Salina; a sister, Ella Bell Miller of Augusta; six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established with the Make-A-Wish Foundation in care of the funeral home.
