Eva Clarabelle McGillivary, 75, former dietitian at Salem Home, died July 10 at Via Christi St. Joseph in Wichita.
The service was July 14 at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church with Gaylord Goertzen officiating. She was buried during a private family burial.
She was born Dec. 23, 1932, to Claude and Eva (Boone) McMinn in Hamlet, Neb. On Dec. 23, 1948, she was married to Dean McGillivary, who survives.
She is also survived by a son, Larry and Janet McGillivary of Manhattan; daughters Katheline Schirer of Halstead, and Marline Thorpe of Wichita; brothers Claude McMinn of Cavool, Mo., Clark McMinn of Hamlet, Lawrence McMinn and John McMinn, both of Hillsboro; a sister, Virginia Densler of McPherson; and two grandchildren.
