Paul and Norma Graber celebrated 50 years of marriage by spending the day in Wichita with their family, a highlight being a visit to the Sedgwick County.
The couple also took a five-day cruise. Their children will host a barbecue at a later date.
Paul Graber and Norma Thiessen were married June 14, 1958, at Tabor Mennonite Church, near Goessel.
Paul retired after 17 years with Norcraft Co. in Newton and now enjoys fishing, woodworking and stained-glass projects.
Norma retired after 33 years from Crossroads Credit Union in Goessel. Among her many hobbies is quilt making, having made several quilts for her family.
The couple’s children are Sheri and Scott Bonnet of Emporia, Jerry and Linda Graber of rural Newton and Diane and Fred Unruh, near Goessel.
They also have seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Alex and Drew Bonnet, Just and Kristie Graber, Jessica and Adam Wulf, Kristin, Michelle and Luke Unruh, and Christian, Riley and Hunter Graber.
