Duane and Karen Carlson of Lincolnville announce the engagement of their daughter, Andrea Carlson, to Eloy Menodza, son of Federico and Maria Mendoza of Houston, Texas.
The bride-to-be recently graduated from Southwestern College with a bachelor’s degree in music. In August, she will start teaching music in Udall.
The groom-elect recently graduated from Southwestern College with a master’s degree in business administration. In 2006, he graduated from Southwestern with a communications degree.
He works as the digital communications counselor in the college’s admissions office.
The couple are planning a July wedding at Holy Name Catholic Church in Winfield.
Vinas, Rafaelsen to wed July 19
Curtis and Rhoda Rafaelsen of McPherson announce the engagement of their son, Ryan Rafaelsen, to Irene Mae Vinas of Talisay City, Philippines, daughter of Simplicia Guero Vinas of Isabela, Philippines.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Isabela National High School and West Negros College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Berean Academy, Elbing, and attended Hutchinson Community College and Central College, McPherson. He is employed as an electrical technician at NCRA in McPherson.
The wedding is being planned for July 19 at Countryside Covenant Church in McPherson.
