A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. June 6 at the Marion Cemetery.

He was born Oct. 31, 1916, to Jacob and Hannah Eberhardt Helmer in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. On Dec. 15, 1938, he was married to Frances Kelsey, who predeceased him.

He is survived by a daughter, Kay and Ray Stice of Tulsa; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial fund has been established with St. Francis Hospice at Tulsa in care of Zeiner Funeral Home.
