“Working with G-Eye Mobile will bring another convenience to the people in Marion County,” said Mike Ryan, chief executive officer. “They offer currently offer five diagnostic tests previously not available in this area.”

A lactose-intolerance breath test is a non-invasive, affordable and easy test for detecting one of the most common gastrointestinal problems. The test measures the level of hydrogen expelled in a simple breath sample.

The Restech ambulatory pH monitoring system is for atypical symptoms of gastro esophageal reflux disease.

A small probe, designed for maximum patient comfort, is advanced gently through the patient’s nose into the back of the throat. The patient wears a data recorder on her or his waist, where the data are stored and returned for analysis.

Capsule endoscopy is a wireless procedure that enables the G-Eye Mobile to view the three areas of the small bowel. This helps physicians to determine the possible causes of recurrent or unresolved symptoms of troublesome GI health.

This hi-tech capsule contains a light source and a camera. After ingestion, it collects data and sends it to a recorder worn on the patient’s waist while continuing normal activity.

At the conclusion of the study, the recorder is returned to the physician’s office where the images are downloaded and reviewed.

The helicobacter pylori breath test is a non-invasive procedure that enables the physician to test for the presence of helicobacter pylori bacteria in the stomach.

The procedure is intended for patients who have previously tested positive for helicobacter pylori bacteria and are still experiencing recurring symptoms after antibiotic therapy.

The lactulose breath test is a non-invasive procedure that enables the physician to test for the presence of bacteria in the small intestine. The test is performed on-site by trained G-EyeMobile nursing personnel.

This procedure is intended for patients who have a history of irritable bowel syndrome or ongoing symptoms that may include, but are not limited to, bloating, gas, abdominal pain, diarrhea and constipation.

Appointments are made through a patient’s primary care physician. G-EyeMobile techs will take care of any pre-authorization needs.

The test results will beread by a board-certified gastroenterologist, with results sent back to the personal physician for follow-up with the patient.
