Robert F. “Bobby” Richmond, 76, retired farmer and dairyman, died April 21 at his residence in Marion.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Parish, St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Marion, with Father Paul Oborny officiating. The rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be at Marion Cemetery.
He was born May 18, 1931, to Joseph and Elizabeth Winkley Richmond at Marion. On Oct. 13, 1955, he was married to Josephine Schafers, who predeceased him.
He is survived by two sons, Tom of Marion and Lee of Newton; three daughters, Janice Waner of Peabody, Leona Hajek of Lost Springs and Judy Phillips of Goddard; a sister-in-law, Cleta Richmond of Peabody; and 12 grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with the Knights of Columbus and Ecker-Fulkerson-Slifer V.F.W. Post 6958.
