Fred E. Utech, 85, of Ramona, farmer, died April 11 at Hillsboro Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 15 at Carlson-Becker Funeral Home in Hope. Burial will be at Lewis Cemetery in Ramona.
He was born Feb. 25, 1923, to William and Marie (Schlesener) Utech near Tampa. On June 25, 1944, he was married to Marguerite Bayes, who survives of the home.
He is also survived by two sons, Garland of Amsterdam, Mo., and Marlon of Collierville, Tenn.; a daughter, Jeanetta Hanschu of Ramona; four sisters, Edna Mueller of Tampa, Erna Peterson of Osage City, Dolores Siggs of Goddard, and Grace Raven of Marietta, Ga.; two brothers, Bill and Junior Utech, both of Topeka; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorial funds have been established with Trinity Lutheran Church of Ramona and the Ramona Senior Center in care of the funeral home.
