The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 7 at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro. Burial will be at Haven of Rest Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. April 6 at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

He was born Oct. 19, 1909, to Alex Meljo and Katherine Reiswig in Hillsboro. On Dec. 18, 1938, he was married to Cora Sell, who predeceased him.

He is survived by a daughter, Karen Ruperd of Kansas City; and one grandchild.

Memorial funds have been established with First Mennonite Church and Parkside Homes.
