Menno Fast, 91, former professor, died March 23 at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
A memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27 at the Schowalter Villa Chapel.
He was born April 16, 1916, to Isaac and Aganetha Unruh Fast in Goessel. On Aug. 20, 1949, he was married to Naomi Brubaker, who survives in Hesston.
He is also survived by a sister, Martha Fast Waltner of Freeman, S.D.; three children, Catherine and Doug Everingham of Wichita, Elisabeth and Theo Beels of Grand Rapids, Mich., and John and Jenny Fast of Goessel; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial funds have been established with Kauffman Museum in North Newton and Mennonite Central Committee, in care of Miller Funeral Home in Hesston and Goessel.
