Helen Rose “Honey Rose” Bishop, 68, of Leon, died March 21 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 26 at Fort Scott National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. March 25 at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado.
She was born Oct. 21, 1939, to Daniel and Alice May (Anderson) Brunner in Hillsboro. She was married to Thomas Bishop, who predeceased her.
She is survived by three daughters, Robin and Ron Roush of Leon, Alyce Bishop and husband Dustin Kadous of Topeka, and Joy Bishop of Topeka; a brother, John Brunner of Hope; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established with the American Red Cross in care of the funeral home.
