Sam Abraham Quiring, 94, died March 15 in Goessel.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 21 at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church in Goessel. Burial will follow at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Miller Funeral Home in Goessel.
He was born March 11, 1914, to Abraham P. and Elizabeth Goossen Quiring in Mountain Lake, Minn. On Sept. 1, 1949, he was married to Elva Ratzlaff, who survives.
He is also survived by children, Dennis and Annette Quiring of Newton, Grace and Harlan Bartel of Newton, Clarice and Robert Hostetler of Dodge City; sisters, Frieda Toews of Cincinnati, Ohio, Adeline Friesen of Freeman, S.D., and Geneva and Waldo Stoesz of Mountain Lake; and eight grandchildren.
