Mary Helen Becker, 88, homemaker and former librarian, died March 3 in Hillsboro.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 8 at First Baptist Church of Durham. Burial will be prior to the service at 10 a.m. at Durham Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

She was born April 17, 1919, to Benjamin Hays and Helen Ward Hays in Wakeeny. On Sept. 7, 1946, she was married to Dorman D. Becker, who predeceased her.

She is survived by a son, Kent and Ginger Becker of Durham; two daughters, Sherry and Dennis Conyers of McPherson and Tammi and Larry Meysing of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a brother, Curtis Hayes of Tucson, Ariz.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
