E. Kenneth and Ruby (Prieb) Schroeder of Hillsboro celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception at the Goessel Mennonite Church. A light faspa was catered by Keith Banman.
The couple married Feb. 27, 1948, at the Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro. They owned Prairie Flower & Garden Shop in Hillsboro from 1988-2000, and retired to a duplex at Parkside where they currently reside.
Children are Kathy and Ivan Schmidt, Vince and Vicky Schroeder and Russell and Debra Schroeder, all of Goessel. The couple has seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Millers to celebrate 60th anniversary
Floyd and Aileen Miller of Hillsboro will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
The couple married March 7, 1948, at Halstead United Methodist Church.
They have four children, Kathy and Kirby Rector of Hillsboro, Linda and Wayne Friesen of Hillsboro, Gayleen Smith of Olathe, and Alan Miller of Newton; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
