Paul D. Quiring, 90, teacher and administrator, died Feb. 15 at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 at Schowalter Villa Chapel. A private family burial will take place.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 at the Schowalter Villa Chapel, with family present from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
He was born Jan. 17, 1918, to Peter and Sarah (Duerksen) Quiring in Freeman, S.D. On Aug. 18, 1940, he was married to Mildred Quiring, who survives in Hesston.
He is also survived by a son, Dwight Quiring of Kansas City, Mo.; two daughters, Gloria Jean Briet of Denver, Colo., and Margaret Ann Wester of Pasadena, Calif.; brothers, Ralph Quiring of North Newton and Herbert Quiring of Sedalia, Colo.; sisters, Mary Tschetter of Smolan and Susan Wedel of Laramie, Wyo.; a sister-in-law, Ethel Quiring of Warminster, Pa.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In leu of flowers, memorial funds have been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or Schowalter Villa Good Samaritan Fund.
