Peabody-Burns vs. Canton-Galva—Behind 24 points from Duane Unruh and 13 more from Adam Benson, the Warriors downed the Eagles 70-52 Feb. 5.

Peabody-Burns led 16-15 after one quarter and accelerated to a 37-33 halftime lead. Unruh notched 10 points during the second period.

A 15-7 PBHS run in the third quarter put CGHS in 12-point hole.

Ted Regehr, Canton-Galva’s leading scorer, finished with 18 despite a limited fourth quarter.

Destin Nightengale finished with 11 points in support of Regehr.

Centre—Lost James Weber to a knee injury late in January and have gone 0-5 without him.

Olpe defeated Centre 77-44 last Friday. Trevor Troutt and Bryant Brunner each scored 12 points.

Centre faced White City Feb. 4, falling by a score of 66-51.Trevor scored 14 points in the defeat. CHS lost to Lebo Feb.1, 80-63. Wakefield defeated Centre 76-53 Jan. 28. The Cougars took a 67-42 loss to Solomon the following day.

The Cougars faced Wakefield Tuesday and wrap up their regular season schedule at Chase County Friday.

Peabody-Burns—Peabody-Burns tangled with Inman Friday, emerging on the short side of a 55-33 margin. A 19-9 run in the third quarter proved decisive. Jake Middleton led the Warriors with 10 points.

The Warriors tagged Little River 71-52 at home Feb. 1. Middleton and Duane Unruh each scored 16. Sedgwick defeated PBHS 62-55 Jan. 29. Middleton again led the team in scoring with 10 points.

Peabody-Burns is 9-8 on the season. The Warriors visited Hutch Trinity Tuesday and travel to Ell-Saline Friday. PBHS then hosts Berean Academy Tuesday.

Goessel—The Bluebirds defeated Flint Hills 48-41 Thursday in Goessel, then topped Remington 47-33 on the road Friday. Goessel downed Moundridge at home Saturday by a 45-35 margin.

Austin Unruh led the team with 13 points against Flint Hills. Nathan Ensz caught 11 rebounds.

Ensz led the charge against Remington, scoring 11 points and collecting 7 blocks.

Unruh scored 13 points and Craig Banman added 12 against Moundridge.

The Bluebirds defeated Argonia Jan. 28 by a 56-49 margin. Craig Banman scored 15 points, Nathan Ensz scored 14, and Austin Unruh added 12. Ensz added 11 rebounds.

Berean Academy beat the Bluebirds 50-37 the following night. Goessel lost to Inman 44-45 Feb. 1.

GHS hosted Ell-Saline on Tuesday and wraps up its regular season at home Friday against Canton-Galva.

Canton-Galva—The Eagles defeated Remington 48-40 Jan. 29.

Ted Regehr scored 19 points, and Riley Nigh added 11.

Hutch Trinity defeated Canton-Galva 76-60 Feb. 1.

Canton-Galva lost its road game at Sedgwick 70-42 Friday. The Eagles hosted Berean Academy Tuesday.
